Description:
This course introduces principles of American law governing business and personal transactions. Areas covered include contracts and agency. The course also introduces the American legal environment: the court system, administrative agency procedures, and government regulation in the area of antitrust, employment and consumer transactions.
Course Requirements:
Orientation: Yes The week prior to class you can access the course to receive some instruction on what to expect and how the online course will work.
Campus Visits: No Software/Resources: Yes You will need adobe reader. This can be downloaded for free. A link will be provided to you for this purpose at the time of the class.
There are audio and video lectures that are posted for the material. You do not need any specific software for this, however it is helpful if you have a high speed connection. Either DSL or Cable is preferred. You can use dial-up but there maybe some extended waiting times while the files load.

- have several hours on a weekly basis to read the text and research

- can work without regular classroom contact with your instructor
