Description:

Broad understanding of principles, policies, problems, and functions of business. Business -its nature and opportunities, ownership, organization,management, marketing, physical factors, personnel, finance, managerial controls, law, regulated industries, and taxation.

Course Requirements:

Orientation: Yes
Course information including syllabus will be available on Blackboard at least one week prior to class beginning. This is a hybrid, so the first in person class will include an orientation.

Campus Visits: Yes
This class meets once per week on campus and also has an on-line portion that counts as the second half of the course material. The 16 classes take place over 8 weeks, meeting once per week and completing on-line work once per week.

Software/Resources: No
Web access to the Blackboard site is needed.

Exams take place on-line. Grade is based on exams, final, written work and class participation.
