Description:
This course emphasizes Managerial Accounting, focusing on the internal rather than the external aspects of everyday business transactions. This course is for students seeking an AAS accounting degree or following a transfer program. Students pursuing an AAS non-accounting degree could be taking ACC 113. It is recommended that the student have obtained a "C" or better in ACC 121 and completed an introductory microcomputer course such as CIS 120 or DPR 175. NOTE: Minimum time for classwork and homework is 12-15 hours per week.
Course Requirements:
Orientation: No Campus Visits: Yes The student may be required to come to campus to take 3 chapter tests and will be required to come to campus for the final exam. Software/Resources: Yes Microsoft Excel is required. Microsoft Word and Power would also be useful, but not required.
